The indignity of anvils.
The humble anvil is a noble item. Used by blacksmiths to create and build and yet being hit with an anvil isn't something we often think about.
Most people won't have to live with the indignity of being hit by one as usually its a death sentence. So i can't help but feel bad for Wile E Coyote. As they will live with the shame of being hit with an anvil.
Sure it's a funny visial gag but if you think about it from his perspective how horrifying is it? He reacts with fear as he will feel everything it does.
So next time your writing about some sort of invincible strong bad guy think about throwing an anvil at them at mach 5. Nothing would be more upsetting to a God like being than having an anvil thrown at them in earnest faith.
