Episode 3 ~ Family & Duty

As I was ready to head up to the punching bags I ran into Anton. I'm not as familiar with the guy but I've seen him around here and there and he's definitely seen me around. Every time I walk past him I can feel his gaze on my ass since he's pretty bold about it, but whatever. I try to be professional and greet him kindly and he does the same.

"Keeping in shape? Good, need more officers like that," he tells me, definitely checking me out again. His eyes going to my breasts for an obvious moment. "Hey! You're looking good, sorry if I-"

"No, no, it's fine," I guess. I can't control where a man puts his eyes. "So umm, first time seeing you here. Do you come often?" Maybe I need to find a new gym.

Episode 4 ~ It’s Not Like That

At that point Allen made to leave. He didn't want to argue or fight with Anton, he just wanted to leave. It was just too bad that Anton wanted a confrontation, grabbing him by the shoulder and forcing him to explain himself. "C'mon man, what's up with you?" Anton demanded.

"I just didn't want to hear it,alright?"

"You're really sensitive man. You pretend like she's your wife or something. She's just a hot co-worker...one I plan on plugging."

"You have fun with that then," but Anton knew it wouldn't happen. He was no Talla expert but he understood her enough to know Anton had no shot with her.

Episode 4 ~ It’s Not Like That

Once the sets were done they caught their breaths and Allen was the first one to bring up a subject. "So this guy, this killer,"

"The umm, what are we calling him?"

"I just call him killer," Anton says with a shrug. "I hate when we give these freaks a nickname you know? Kind of adds to their notoriety."

"The news is running with some name though,"Allen added, although he completely agreed.

"Head Taker or something, I don't know," Anton pushed out. "I hope I get on that case, would really like to bring that guy to justice."

"Head Taker?" It just hit Allen that it was true, all of his victims were missing their heads. The limbs would be cut off as well but he would leave those lying about the scene just strewn about. No one understood why.

"So, what about that guy you arrested? Talla's friend?" Anton switched subjects on a complete whim, or, not really. Anton really did like bringing up Talla randomly at times. She was clearly on his mind.

"He wasn't her friend and we had nothing on him. He's clean and while we have him on tape that he works for Marta he's now claiming that it was just one big joke to try and score a date with Talla. So it's our word against his so we let him go."

"Heh, I don't blame him though, I'd say anything to get between those cheeks."

Episode 4 ~ It’s Not Like That

Allen offered to take me to the gym, especially after I told him about what happened with Anton. I told him I didn't need his protection and I doubted Anton would mess with me again but he assured me that he would.

It turned out that Allen was right. As we head towards the main area there he is, waiting for us.

"Well, well, well, no wonder you crushed my balls yesterday, looks like you're already taken," he says, looking between Allen and I, his blue eyes glinting green.

"It's not like that Anton," Allen says.

"Even if it were, it'd be none of your business," I include. Kind of disappointed that Allen denied it so quickly. I did think that he, well, liked me?

"Well," Anton starts, a smug look on his face. "If it's not like that, Allen, then buzz off, yeah? I have some unfinished business with this one and I made my interest with her clear to you. So be a friend and buzz off, if you don't mind."

Well, it's not like I'm standing right there. What does he think this is? Finders keepers?

"What are you even talking about man? She doesn't belong to you," Allen jumps in before I do. I'm ready to kick him in his balls again. At least I'd be sure there won't be any little Anton's running around in the future.

"She's not yours either but she wants to be with me, so, buzz off-"

Episode 4 ~ It’s Not Like That

He cornered me and closed the distance with the execution of a practiced predator. Kind of pinning me to the wall. "I'm really tired of this game, Talla," Anton states, I try ignoring him again, yes, even with him right in my face. "You want to play cops and robbers? Huh? I have a fuzzy little set of handcuffs and I can invite you over to my place to pound justice right into you."

"Oh?" Well, that does sound like fun. So I wrap my arms around him, pull myself closer, raise a brow curiously. "Is that so?"

"Mmhmm, it's so, and I'm going to have you coming over every weekend for it."

"Really?"

"How about I take you home tonight? You won't regret it."

Episode 4 ~ It’s Not Like That

Anton groaned, seeing stars, most likely.

Allen kneeled over him, his face dead serious, and says; "That wasn't for anything you said to me. That was for how you’ve treated her, Talla. Next time, I'm reporting you and I’ll be the one removing your badge myself. Do better.”

Anton just groaned in response. It hadn't been a good few days for him and he deserved it.

At that moment, Allen socked him. I burst into a fit of laughter because it was a knock out punch that dropped Anton right to his back.

With a lot of time on my hands I headed to the gym. Usually, I use the treadmill but I today was a boxing day. Self-defense, you know. A lady has to know it, especially an officer. I planned on working out for at least two hours but Anton showed up in the middle of my workout. That wasn't surprising, he does hang out here a lot. But his greeting?

"Isn't this cute? Shouldn't you be doing finger training?"

I ignore him. I know he's alluding to the fact that I'm always behind a desk...or maybe his gutter mind has other ideas, don't know, don't care. I whack the punching bag with a solid hit as I try to wish him away.

"Mind if I join you?"

I say nothing to him but that seems to only rile him up...
