she is beautiful and not just in the STANDARD way. it isn’t superficial or without depth or thought. she is the kind of beautiful that used to mean something; the kind that went deeper than mere features. 

hair

Emmeline’s hair is already fairly long and thick. She hardly cuts it and when she does it’s always by herself to take care of the ends. Her mother would have a fit if she did anything to it when she wasn’t around to oversee it. Thankfully her hair sits in a comfortable space between pin straight and wavy, so she doesn’t need to do much to it except give it a good brush in the morning. Her hair does grow fairly quickly though so it’s always a hassle to maintain every few weeks. Those weeks she always throws it into a few braids or a ponytail depending on how much effort she wants to put in.

eyes

Like her hair, Emmeline has fairly long eyelashes to frame the round almond shape. They’re always wide awake, though staring into a book most of the time so by the end of the day they’re usually a little red rimmed from rubbing at them.
