I didn’t realize how much I hated the #TruthOrDare episode until I watched it a second time. Spencer and Will both deserve better.
Seriously I hate all of Spencer and JJ’s interactions this entire season. They’re so forced. (Also, JJ, pretty sure Spencer knows you can lie -Exhibit A) Emily’s death (10 WEEKS), Exhibit B) Cruz, Exhibit C) your stupid false “truth” in this dumb episode)
Please writers, if MGG graces the screen again, don’t do Jeid. Please.

Curently can’t stop thinking about the fact that literaly every other love confesion in 14x15 would be better. It could be Emily and Reid stuck there and she would say she always loved JJ. She would ask him to keep it a secret since JJ love Will and have a family. Emily didn’t made her move and lost her chance with JJ. For the rest of her days she won’t know if JJ ever loved her back. Or she could say she love Tara and in season 15 we would see how Emily, after being encouraged by Reid, made her move. They don’t have to be dating at the end of season 15, but they both would be closer to realtionship (which would be now discovered in season 16). Or she could say she love Penelope, but with Derek and now Luke in the picture she is afraid she don’t have a chance. Or she loved Jordan, but she left so quickly and they never got a chance to develop their relationship. Or Tara would be in that room and she would admitt she’s in love with Emily, which would be later discovered by the team and Temily would be happening. Another option is to have Luke and Matt inside and Alvez would say that he’s in love with Garcia, but he is afraid of dating coworker and ruining things between them. Then after Garcia leave the BAU he asks her out no longer being afraid about it (just like he did in 15x10). Or the question could be asked to Reid and he would say he is in love with Derek, but Morgan is gone and he has family and Reid is like ten years too late. Or he could say he loves Luke, but he clearly loves Garcia. Or he could say he always thought something would happen between him and Elle. JJ would encourage him in season 15 to find her and reach out. After he did they would got together.
Anyway, literally every other outcome would have been better.
ps. I don’t want JJ admitting anything in this scenario, because poor Will & also Elle is a murderer so maybe it’s better we didn’t see Reidaway happening.
.....and that’s another way the Jeid arc was an absolute fumble. So many fans were hoping for a Jemily endgame, and CBS literally destroyed their very real chance to create that by introducing a random heterosexual romantic subplot that literally nobody wanted or cared about. By having JJ tell Spencer that she was in love with him for 15 years but felt such love and loyalty to Will and her children that she would never act on her affections, they ruined whatever prospects they had at creating a Jemily subplot with any narrative integrity, because now we know for a fact that JJ has no interest in ever leaving Will for another love. These people are literally fucking losers lmao
