now i really still dont feel that scene since i cant buy into a brotherhood where one fucks the others ex gf a day after i just cant but that scene was MEANT TO BE A DEFAN SCENE. Where they told each other they loved each other  Stefan was actually the bigger man like always and he threw his anger aside JUSTIFIED ANGER cause he knew he would always love his brother no matter what. which i knew would happen Stefan cant stay angry at him for long. And his love for Damon goes beyond anything. 

ELENA JUST LOST JER. her BROTHER. these two realized after seeing her what if they lost each other ? THATS WHAT THAT SCENE WAS. they realized arguing wouldn't get them anywhere and at the end of the day they both loved each other NO MATTER WHAT and would be devastated if they had to lose each other . Death made them see that. What if one of them died and they didn't even get a chance to say I love you brother and ended on a bad note.  One day they might not have each other and that day they would regret the anger the arguments. And Stefan " damon i just want you to know" was I LOVE YOU DAMON. And his " i know" was me too. they obviously couldn't say it since there oh omg grown men lol but that was there indirect way of saying it.
