I've been super annoyed both with myself and Marvel/Disney cause I've been wanting to watch the new Captain America movies again. I've been putting it off, though, because the graphics are so bad it's distracting. Those fucking cherry blossoms look like a damn PlayStation 2 rendering. Who the fuck okayed that? It's fucking gross that some asshole decided it was okay if the MCU film with Sam Wilson as the lead was less than pristine because they figured racists would sit it out anyway. Like grow some fucking balls, Marvel, and stop catering to those assholes. Push the marketing so hard that they cry until they vomit.

Fuck, Steve Rogers would be disappointed in the people running that company today.

Honestly hand to hand combat fight scenes are just... so much better than CGI filled monstrocities of bullshit. The bus scene in Shang-Chi, the fights between Bucky and Steve/Natasha in Winter Soldier, actually most scenes in Winter Soldier, the casino scene in Black Panther, all of them. CGI looks cheap and tacky and rushed and hollow. Hand to hand? You can feel the characters move, see them interact even if it’s physically, you can see all the details and it feels so much more fluid. Does it always have to be perfectly realistic? No, of course not. But it feels so much more alive than does CGI scenes. Especially in movies like Black Widow and Shang-Chi, they should have very little CGI imo. It hurts the movies a lot. Hand to hand looks much better.

Unless new actors (Graham Hamilton, Billie Lourd, Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover) are cast in the roles, I do not want the ot characters to appear in ahsoka or filoni's heir to the empire movie, you have actors who can fill the roles perfectly, cast them if you want those characters, but do not use cgi puppet ai voice deep fakes who can't even emote, if not then leave them out of it

CGI is what gives James Cameron and Disney license to keep re-releasing the same shit movies every 10-20 years because it deteriorates over time. CGI steals jobs from makeup artists, fashion and costume designers, set builders, etc.

Isaac motherfucking Asimov, creator of the three laws of robotics, PhD, and renown author hated the idea of AI replacing artists and employees. He even warned the world that this would happen. Look it the fuck up.
