DC Multiverse

The DC Universe is in an alternate Multiverse within the larger Omniverse, and is often regarded as the Marvel Universe's twin. The prime universe was briefly combined with the Earth-616 reality to form the Amalgam Universe, and occasionally crosses over in realities like Earth-7642.

Long story short [narrator this ended up being so long lol sorry]:

I completed the burroughs and I can't wait to go through and pick it apart. I haven't read anyone's theories or posts yet I forgot it's a holiday weekend so I've been a little busy

Anywho, loved the burroughs. The chronic illness stuff with wally broke me. I'm tired too Wally.

But let's talk about Marvel, The Multiverse, The Nolan Brothers, The Prisoner, Pluribus, Fargo, Severance, etc. I want to keep this as short as possible but we'll see how it goes.

Sleight of hand! My favorite thing. I think Tom Clancy may have to pass his crown to Christopher Nolan eventually, though. A while ago Nolan was supposed to start making The Prisoner TV show and it never came to fruition.

Or did it? There was also talk of, when will he work with his brother?? I think he has been this whole time re: West World [as template for Fargo the TV series and even oppenheimer] We will get deeper into that in a part two.

Over the week I took off I re watched a bunch of marvel stuff. Mostly Spiderman Far from home and no way home. While I am thinking about it: When Peter's spidey sense wakes up and he grabs green goblin aunt may can be seen smudging like the good witch she is. Peter's in a prison hell isn't he? In Season 3 hopper tells joyce I want you to be happy here. Prison.

All these shows are a reflection of 1960s The prisoner - which is not a new thought especially with severance. But the scale of all this is crazy. And all these stories can stand on their own. What actually brought me to this multiverse conclusion wasn't Marvel, it was the new DC Lanterns ad which I'm getting real big Tom Cruise/Ethan Hunt Vibes from probably on purpose at thia point. [I'll add the link after I post so I don't lose this post again]

There's elements of Fargo the tv series, weird diner settings, a broken sign on a ranch that says study the past. In a setting that could be west world. I know next to nothing about comics aside from Frank Miller's Watchmen and Dark Knight. Early in ST there was talk of XMen. Well, what if an incursion finally nukes the old xmen verse? Now we have our ST kids helping the supes.

I'm so fascinated by this possibility. Of course all this goes beyond the shows listed. I think this is all to prove a point about AI, too. Watching red letter media yesterday and their review of Mandalorian they stated it's possible it was written by AI if it had been a success disney wouldn't shut up about it. But it was flat and lifeless.

Anywho my point in writing all this is it's very Possible Nolan's Odyssey is the Prisoner.

Watching McGoohan speak if you don't look at him it could be paul bettany.

In Infinity War Wanda partially heals Vision and honestly his wound looks like the hole the lsb is trying to make. So are we in Vision's head? Unclear but I have so much to think about now.

The green lantern trailer made me look up Parallax, the bad guy who can shift temporal stuff. Is the umbrella academy power marigold and the burroughs Mother associated with that same kind of golden power?

Parallax is a wild villain to think about because on the flip side to severance there was signs everywhere about The Parallax view. Sure it could be pointing to a govt conspiracy or is it pointing to a villain?

The same with Stranger Things then Tales mentioning "we'll meet again". We will.

But if we take it literally the song is from a movie about a DOOMSDAY device.

And last point: I wrote about Cyclops popping up across all these properties what inspired me to look into the prisoner again was realizing watchmen 2019 used the same hand sign as the prisoner.
