i honestly didn’t expect her to be involved at all because keira said a long time ago that she was done with the pirates movies because she wanted to move on in her career, but then she CAME BACK and like??? if you’re going to have that great of an actor & character come back when she wasn’t planning to, you need to write her in as more than just an afterthought. i’d made my peace with her not being in it but the fact that those circumstances changed and the script didn’t aldfkajaldfhjl

now let me learn you a thing about katie. i’ve known her for years & met her ages ago in a whole other type of RP. ( dark days, dark fucking days) back then, she was a sweetheart, funny & honestly had such a connection with her portrayal that it was difficult not to just accept she was the muse. (spoiler: nothing has changed ) i was drawn right into her blog without knowing who she was & then i saw her selfie and remembered e x a ctly. she’s stunning and has improved with being a MUA so much. BUT ANYWAYS, katie puts so much fucking effort into her characters. everytime i see her hc’s on dash it’s just so obvious she has such a grip on her portrayal and has taken the time to get into grants’ headspace. simple, she understands him? she writes BEAUTIFULLY and i will shamelessly admit i’ve peeked on some the threads just to be like “wow” after. also she has a few other lovely muses so you can get all types of katie on your dash. if you aren’t following then go fix that..,,?

“ ward !” trip was no stranger to nightmares. some night he woke in cold sweats, trapped in his own body, laying flat on his back unable to move or speak beside blink into blinding darkness until the episode past. he had seen his father, raving half out of his mind pursued by terrors that were only in his head. he had reached out for the other in the dim light of the dorm room, grasping a hold of his arm if only to try and jolt the other back into consciousness. “ hey, hey, man -- easy, it’s cool. you’re in the academy.”
they were less than a week into first admissions and for now their trainers seemed content on torturing them with work outs fit to make him feel as if his arms were about to fall off -- nothing that warranted the kind of cold sweat nightmare that had managed to curl it’s metaphorical hands around grant ward’s neck. even with their limited time together trip could see how hard the other worked, as hard -- if not harder -- than anyone else. it reminded him of someone but he figured that was too early to tell.
trip settled back against his own cot, hands displayed palms up even in the dim light ward was sure to be able to make them out. “ my first nightmare here i threw up so -- you’re already doing better than me.” pause. “ you good?”
