these kinds of people scare me a little and make me feel uncomfortable.
I mean, when you're an heir to a monarchy and your life and image is controlled by your family, they *can* force MC to marry anyone lest MC gets punished for it. MC doesn't own their life as a royal, it's dedicated to the family. Can MC push against that? Yes, but still, that's a story arc that will be explored.
As for E making you uncomfortable, your MC doesn't have to entertain their shenanigans nor does your MC have to encourage/support them, but that's who they are and for right now, MC is stuck with them.
