I think I’m gonna start making a clearer story for my own hellaverse au now that it’s been like 5 years since I’ve started to draw Mammon and the others! (Yes I’ve been here a long time pfft-)

I’ve had the story in my mind for so long that I feel like I just have to start writing more about it now!

And who knows I might even make my own animations of this au

Now sadly I cant really say what Nightmare actually is since I dont want to reveal most of the stories plot. I'm planning on making a comic series or even an animation series later so that'll have to wait unfortunately. I also think that the fun part of the character is not knowing what she really is! :>

But I can say that, Mammon and Nightmare are no longer equal in power. I've changed that long ago that's why that post is no longer pinned.

However, this doesn't mean that Nightmare is not hella powerful too. Just not at a Mammon level anymore.

The Demon Class and Power Hierarchy is pretty much the same as in the show!

So it's basically:

Lucifer > The Sins > Ars Goetia > Overlords > Sinners > Hellborn > Imps > Hellhounds

Like Satan in the original show has said that he made Imp kind to be "obedient to the upper class", implies in my verse as well. That's why Imps and some species of Hellborn simply do not have powers nor have access to higher powers.

The Succubi and Incubi are different since they are literally tasked with going to the Human World to seduce people, as ordered by Asmodeus. They do it with Asmodean Crystals anyway so it doesn't count as them having powers.

As for their lifespans, we never got confirmation on how long the characters lifespans are. We only know that the Ars Goetia are long living demons. The Sins might also be immortal?? Though I'm not too sure.

In my verse that's a bit different. The Sins ARE in fact immortal. The Ars Goetia can live up to 10.000 - 30.000 years depending on their health and injuries (Thats also why the Ars Goetia demons that we know today haven't changed yet since the writing of The Lesser Key of Solomon). The Sinners are immortal since they are souls, that is until they get killed by angelic weapons. Hellborn and Imps usually live around 200-300 years. Hellhounds only live till about 100-150.

This difference in their ages being higher than humans also effects their development. That's why there is also a difference in the Age of Concent in hell.
