Okay so Soap and Ghost are undercover at Graves’s company or wherever, right? I assume they’re trying to get intel, because duh that’s what spies do.
Here’s the point: Soap having to distract Graves and keep him occupied while Ghost downloads intel from a computer. Ghost does not like leaving Soap alone with Graves, but he didn’t have a choice, and he’s suddenly very imaginative with what could be going on between the two of them—
They're not undercover at the company exactly like, as in they're not pretending to work for him or something. But they are pretending to be some sort of high society people (Soap's fake persona could be like. I don't know an up and coming celebrity, haven't put too much thought into it) and one day Graves probably offers a tour of the main HQ building and his office and stuff.
Maybe their cover is that they're investors in his company and he wants to make a good impression and show them how reliable and stuff he is blah blah blah, (he's absolutely not in any way shape or form).
Roach has provided them with whatever tool they need to like bypass the security systems and all they need is for Soap to distract Graves while Ghost sneaks into his office and retrieves the info. It shouldn't take more than like ten minutes or so.. right?
