There's no such thing as an SJW... when people use the term I know their argument is lazy
Well, thatās your approach, but it isnāt accurate.Ā āSJWā is a term that describes a specific group of people that, among other things, tend to be just as reactionary and freedom-hating as right-wingers, just in different areas. They are distinguished from just normal people who are interested in promoting social justice because they let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Theyāre the people protesting letting Bill Maher speak/perform at a university not because heās a vulgar left-wing antireligion comic, like right-wing people would say, but because heās tooĀ āmeanā. Theyāre the so-called liberal people who demand that their classrooms merely solidify their worldviews rather than challenge them.
SJWs are about performative outrage and mindless, contextless identity politics. And theyāre usually American.
You canāt say thereās no such thing asĀ āXā until you understand howĀ āXā is being used.
