They are distinguished from just normal people who are interested in promoting social justice because they let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Theyāre the people protesting letting Bill Maher speak/perform at a university not because heās a vulgar left-wing antireligion comic, like right-wing people would say, but because heās tooĀ āmeanā. Theyāre the so-called liberal people who demand that their classrooms merely solidify their worldviews rather than challenge them.
SJWs are about performative outrage and mindless, contextless identity politics. And theyāre usually American.
