This friend of mine from my home town, we can just call her Clare. Her younger sister has a HUGE issue with her body image, she wont eat... at all, and she has been hospitalized twice now and apparently is very very sick from anorexia, nutrition deficiency, and dehydration. This whole thing really scared me not only because Clare's sister is sick but she is only 6 years old.  It really scares me to think that as a parent you could allow something like this to happen at such an early age. My niece is 6 and she would never even think about things like this, she is still just a child. It really worries me that girls are starting to be exposed to such things so young and to see their sisters, mothers, or peers struggle or complain which subjects them to these things that I think really negatively effect them.
