1. favourite place in your country ?

France : the South-West, where I was born and lived most of my life. From the window of my bedroom I have a magnificent view on the mountains The Pyrénées. The city where I was born, Toulouse, one of the most beautiful city I’ve ever seen. It’s a green and golden part of the country, very sunny, but with cold and rainy winters.

Morocco : the Emerald Valley. It’s a valley between mountains range, in the centre of the country, it’s my ancestral land. It used to be a treasure in terms of biodiversity and ecosystems, but it has slowly been destroyed by human activity and bad environmental policies. Its name comes from the dense vegetation, the trees are mostly very old oaks and cedars, there’s a river running through it ... It’s beautiful, or it could be if only the country would realize the treasure they have here and start taking care of it instead of selling it to the Qataris. 

4. favourite dish specific for your country ?

France : quiche lorraine. It’s a salty pie with a shortcrust pastry, a mix of eggs and cream, bacon, sometimes onions, etc. It’s so good, very savoury, and it feeds you.

Morocco : ALL OF IT. Moroccan food is delicious. A good couscous is a masterpiece of culinary arts. A tajine with lemon confit, raisins, chickpeas, prunes is the best thing on a cold day. The marshoush is one of my favourite : it’s a dish of chicken and meloui (crepe of wheat flour and fine semolina), I always ask it when I go home. Zaalouk is delicious too, it’s mashed eggplant with spices. And I haven’t started on the desserts yet, the sweets and the baked goods ... The salads. The drinks (Moroccan green mint tea, aka the best) ... Yeah. 

7. three words from your native language that you like the most ?

French : éphémère (ephemeral) - fantasque (whimsical) - rocambolesque (synonym of extraordinary).

Berber* : tashishaout (dove, a pet name) - tanmir[r]t (thank you) - aghbalou (water spring) ([gh] is a soft r, like a cat purring).

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language ?

French : PUTAIN. The classic. Equivalent of “fuck”, but literally means “a prostitute”, though no one uses it in that meaning anymore. 

Berber : “ikhan aberchen” ([kh] is a hard r, like the spanish “j”), which means “dark shit” (”aberchen” meaning black, as the colour). It’s also my father’s favourite swear word.

* The berber language is as diverse as the berber people. There are many dialects.The one I speak is the one from central Morocco. Berber is also the name given by the European, we call ourselves Imazighen (plural), Amazigh ) singular), tamazight (the language). Amazigh means “The Free Man”.

1. Acts like they’re dying when they have a cold. See, I don’t think either of them would, they’re both the kind of person who’d keep pushing through a cold until it was 10x worse and then be like “why can’t I move what happened”. 3. Gets the worst road rage. Poe. He’s so used to flying and being free and gridlock is. The worst??? 7. Hits the snooze button…11 times. Poe Poe Poe unless he has a mission. Meanwhile Finn has been up for six hours and has already done all his chores for the day.13. Can’t make up their mind when it comes to dinner. Fiiiiiiinn! Going from Stormtrooper rations to being suddenly spoiled for choice puts a lot of pressure on a man :P 21. Hogs the blankets. Finn at first, just because he’s not used to sharing a bed on a regular basis. 25. Has no problem having ice cream for breakfast. Poe. Not that Finn exactly minds, but Poe is more likely to do it. 27. Trips over their own feet. Neither, I think they’re both pretty coordinated!

Knee Socks: If you were starring in a movie, who would you want as your co star?

Actor wise? RSJ unquestionably. In terms of friends, this asshole right here: @tiny-bandaid. 

Pumpkin Spice: Do you have a favorite coffee place? Why is it your favorite?

I do! There’s a little cafe in my small town called Black River Coffee, and it’s quaint and quiet and the lattes and butter tarts are SO GOOD. There’s a cozy seating area in the back with couches and a fireplace, and an outdoor patio overlooking a river and forest. It’s such a great place to read.

Harry Potter. Gimme Hogwarts and magic forever.

Beanies: What is your most prized possession?

OMG BUT THE BOYS AT PRIDE AND A PROPOSAL AT PRIDE.  oKAY LET’S DO THIS, BECAUSE I HAVE SO MUCH NEED!  

Sam laughed and slipped on his shirt (black with the word “PRIDE” written in rainbow) and his jeans as he watched Gabriel put on the finishing touches of his outfit.  Gabriel had been getting ready for hours, now, insisting that his outfit be absolutely perfect.  “Can I have one of the cheek tattoos?” 

“Yes!” Gabriel called.  “I have a rainbow and a bisexual flag put aside for you already!”  

Sam grinned when Gabriel turned and he got a look at the pansexual flag and rainbow flag proudly adorning Gabriel’s cheeks.  “All right, let’s get me set up then!” he called.  

It didn’t take long for Sam to be fully decorated (Gabriel even gave up a few of his beaded necklaces to Sam), and ready to go.  He watched Gabriel slip on sneakers that had been tied with rainbow ribbons for the occassion.  

“How do I look?” Gabriel asked, twirling around.  

“You look like a rainbow puked all over you and then a unicorn shit glitter on you,” Sam said, hiding a smile.  

Gabriel bounced in excitement.  “Perfect!”  He tossed his hair and held out his hand for Sam, the words “pride” written out on his rainbow fingernails.  “We’ve got a parade to get to!”  

Sam took Gabriel’s hand and followed him outside, laughing as they were immediately absorbed in a crowd of people surging in the streets.  Now he just had to find the right moment.  

The ring bounced against his leg and Sam watched Gabriel shimmy his hips, showing off his rainbow tulle skirt he’d made himself and the tie-dye rainbow shirt that was hanging off of him.  Gabriel had never looked more beautiful.  He’d find the right moment today.  He would.  

Gabriel was always a fan of the ostentatious and attention-grabbing, and later, after they’d weeded through the crowd and the booths that had been set up, and been painted on, glittered on, and flashed at least a dozen times over, Sam saw the window for his moment.  

A woman with a bullhorn was starting cheers in the crowd and Sam shot her a quick smile while Gabriel was distracted with another booth that was offering henna and glitter paint.  Sam tapped her on the shoulder and quickly explained his plan.  

She was more than happy to cede the megaphone over to him for a brief minute.  Sam took a deep breath and brought it up to his mouth, keeping his eye on Gabriel’s back.  “Gabriel Novak!” he called, getting the attention of everyone in their immediate vicinity.  

Gabriel spun around, a glittered pattern of a dragon falling to the grass and stared at Sam, his eyes wide.  “Where did you get a megaphone?”  

Sam grinned and stepped closer.  “That’s not important.”  They were gathering more people by the second.  “What is important is how much I love you.”  

Gabriel blushed as the crowd started to cheer around them.  Sam was smirking and walking closer to him, still holding the megaphone.  “You going to shout it through a megaphone, Sam?”  

“Absolutely,” Sam said with a nod.  He tilted his head and the megaphone back and belted the words out.  “I, SAM WINCHESTER, AM IN LOVE WITH GABRIEL NOVAK.”  

A cheer started from somewhere not far away and Sam laughed as the whole crowd around them started cheering as well.  Sam grinned and handed the megaphone back to the woman who had lent it to him and stalked towards Gabriel.  

Gabriel’s cheeks were cherry red, but he’d never loved his boyfriend more than he had in this moment.  A year ago, when he’d met Sam, Sam would never have been able to do something like that, and smile while doing it.  

“You know,” Sam said, well aware that they still had an audience.  “I love you for helping me to accept who I am, and for loving me without conditions.  I love that you are so wholly and uniquely yourself, Gabriel.”  

Gabriel tilted his head back to look up at Sam as he stopped in front of him.  “I love you too, you fucking moose.”  

“Well, in that case,” Sam said, pulling the ring out of his pocket, dropping to one knee.  The crowd around then started to scream and Sam looked up at Gabriel, the way his eyes went wide and his mouth dropped open.  He waited until he was sure that Gabriel would hear him.  “You want to spend the rest of your life with me?”  

Gabriel threw himself at Sam, wrapping his arms around Sam’s shoulders, laughing when Sam picked him up and started spinning him around.  Sam was getting covered in glitter and sparkles and didn’t care and Sam wanted to MARRY him!  “Yes, yes, fuck, yes!”  

The crowd went wild again and Gabriel laughed into the kiss that Sam pulled him into, even as the ring was slowly pushed onto his finger.  He tightened his hands on Sam’s shoulders and hugged him tight.  

Best proposal ever.
