2. How long have you been drawing?
Iāve pretty much always loved drawing! I think as long as Iāve been old enough to hold a pencil Iāve been drawing. My parents knew they could keep me occupied if they just got me some markers and a pad of paper. As I got older I started trying different types of media, and then when I got to around 14 or so I discovered digital art (thanks to Neopets circa 2002). So Iāve been drawing for a long time.
5. Whatās your favorite thing to draw?
My absolute favourite thing to draw are portraits. I also enjoy drawing animals and natural landscapes, I used to paint a LOT of landscapes. I really want to make sure I donāt just stick to my comfort zone, but since Iāve struggled with motivation to draw over the last several years, I tend to just indulge it. But yeah I love drawing faces, especially eyes.
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
Oh, for sure other artists! I feel like Tumblr helped me develop as an artist by finding a little community of friends (thinking back to our Dota days!). These days Iām not as good as interacting with communities/fandoms, though Iām trying my best right. But learning how to look at other peopleās art and appreciate what I like about it was a really key bit of my development (rather than just looking at it and saying āoh wow I suck compared to thisā)

For a hot second I forgot it was slowburn/enemies to lovers/fake dating and I was like āI canāt kill any of them!ā
I would fake date Genly because I think we have, like, shared cultural ground on what dating is, which is important. I will be enemies to lovers with Faxe and we will argue about philosophy and weāll both be wrong about something when we start out and then come to see a third, better point of view. And I will slow burn Ashe because thatās just what Ashe deserves.

laksdjglkasjg IāM SORRY I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT āpicklesā = āpickled blackfish,ā I think in context itās more likely itās just some unnamed vegetable---thereās not a lot of discussion of the vegetable factor in the diet in general, because most of the focus is on Protein And Where To Scrounge It, but I think we can assume that they grow some.
