So, it took a while to gather the courage to tackle a morph sequence, they are kind of intimidating! Anyway, Everett first since he is my character and I feel like I know him best, into the cheetah! He hasn’t used this morph yet, but he happens to be the only one in the group to have acquired it.

Since in our tabletop campaign, only a single piece outfit can morph, he is wearing a training suit he uses in track races and practice. Running track is one of the things Everett does so, the cheetah seemed like a natural morph for him.

The first panel will actually cut off halfway through Tyrel so his face will be on the second panel. He will bridge into the second scene with the group touching/about to touch the Escafil device (glowing cube that gives them the morphing ability). 

Some more Everetts (for those not aware, Everett is an autistic teen, forensic science enthusiast and I play him in an Animorphs-based tabletop campaign) at various ages. He has been my character obsession of choice as of late and I have used that as an excuse to do some expression/position/design element studies. 

So we have laughing (with bubbles), pensive in need of a haircut (with a static geometric background), baby’s first crime board, aka drawing on the walls (with special-interest-tunnel-vision lighting), and rough housing in ninja turtles pjs (Donatello-colored shadows)

*the campaign is currently on hiatus, but I am hoping not permanently*

Practicing some fun expression and movement/stimming exercises with Everett from the Animorphs: Initiative tabletop campaign (which is currently on hiatus so I am feeling withdrawal from my boy here).

Some happy hand-flapping (plus bonus torso freckles) and a couple of shots in one of his favorite shirt (which sort of exists, kind of a hybrid of two different shirts, but I liked the retro logo better).

Just a few slice of life childhood scenes of Everett (my animorphs campaign character) while we figure out running schedules to start the sessions again. He has become a real comfort character and I love figuring out what he looks like at different ages. 

So finally some more Animorphs Initiative campaign stuff! A portrait of the angry, angry andalite we met on the crashed ship in the ocean. He was angery, for good reason granted. His name is Val (I will let @falseprophet add his full name because damned if I remember it all) and he is basically just a kid! like us!

Anyway, him in his andalite form and then him, after touching all of us, in his newly created human form. Now he is one of us whether he likes it or not. 

I wanted to do a series of ‘downtime’ pictures for our animorphs tabletop group to show what our player characters like to do when not saving the world from an invading Yeerk army.

Gill (17 yo, pronouced Jill, short for Gillette) is trained in all kinds of sports and loves competitive physical activity, but she is a particular fan of MMA style fighting. 

Kilohana (15 yo), originally from Hawaii, was a regular surfer, so skateboarding was the natural progression in landlocked RVA. He might be one of our most physically ‘aware’ characters and is always touching, jumping, and climbing on stuff.

Katherine (Kat, 24 yo) and Tyrell (gender queer, 23 yo) are the two oldest of the group and so have college classes, jobs, and ‘extra curricular activities’ to worry about. Because of that, they don’t get too much downtime, but the networking opportunity a party brings is too good to pass up. They knew each other well before the campaign started.

Everett (15 yo, Katherine’s brother) runs track at school and really enjoys training for meets. He gets into a ‘zone’ and can be pretty intense about his running time. 

Kioshi (17 yo) has a lot at his disposal as far as hobbies go because of the support of his rather wealthy parents. He enjoys playing video games and has all the latest tech. Family tension also can make escaping into a virtual world appealing to a kid like him.

I asked if the players wanted to see anything specific and Kioshi’s player wanted a shot of him back and the cabin looking at the hologram holding the button/medallion he was given.
