Discussion time: Dumbest Animated Villains...
Funny enough, I was about to say the Duke of Owls from Don Bluth’s Rockadoodle movie (basically he and the owls hate the sunlight....which is weird since owls usually sleep during the day anyway. So he tries to drive away a rooster who...can bring up the sun...despite showing the sun can in fact come up on it’s own in the beginning of the movie? Yeah, this movie makes very little sense). But then I suddenly remembered another dumb villain and realise just how even dumber their motivation was....
I am talking about....Gnorga from A Troll in Central Park.
Uuuggggghhh! This movie is so horrendous...I would recommend it to the Devil to use as a torture method on those condemned to hell.
Gnorga is just such a crap villain....basically the main character Stanley is a good troll who likes to grow pretty flowers, but Gnorga is against it because Trolls are suppose to be all bad and evil. So what does she do? She sends him to a place supposedly made entirely of metal....which is New York...Central Park....where flowers and trees grow....
Then when she discovers Stanley is alive...though should it really be a shocker? She decides to go there herself and turn him to stone. Honestly...why not just leave him there where he’s happy and out of the way of the troll kingdom? It’s not like the other trolls are going to miss him or talk about it?
Her design and character is just very basic, “I'm evil, hahahah”. Nothing about her stands out and she is a very weak villain....she rides a friken tricycle to chase two young kids, 😂
The only good thing I can say about her is that, I can kinda sympathies with why she’d wanna kill Stanley....who himself is one of the most weakest and annoying characters ever!
