What do you think of Angry Joe?
I have never watched a video of his. Maybe once, many, many, many years ago, but not anything in the last five or six years.
I donāt make a habit of watching people whose entire identity is defined by being āangry.ā There are basically two exceptions to this rule:
Angry Video Game Nerd, and I am one of the last holdouts among my group of friends in this regard. Most got tired of his potty humor schtick and Iām definitely on the fence there. I still like his videos but they feel increasingly like a guilty pleasure and Iām always wondering how long he plans to keep doing them (I thought he was going to finish out with the movie and then move on?)
Two Best Friends Play, with the so-called āAngry Patā who hasnāt actually been very angry for a good long while. Heās just sort of a cynical weirdo but he doesnāt rage very much these days. Not like he used to.
I also donāt generally pay attention to the big Youtube superstars because usually those guys are so far up their own butts with their āpersonalitiesā that itās like everything āone noteā about modern AVGN cranked up to a thousand. A lot of Youtube stars passed the āa parody of themselvesā line so long ago that they looped around to become a parody of the parody. Literally the only popular Youtubers I watch on the reg is Markiplier and Game Grumps, andā¦
Itās not really regular because I only check their channels maybe once or twice a month for things that might be interesting
Iām kind of suspicious about Markiplier because he has that almost kind of ātoo niceā quality about him. People like that usually are hiding some big deep dark terrible secret. (But at least heās hiding it, unlike, say, Jontron)
All the rest? Canāt really standāem, and that includes Angryjoe.
