14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?

the climactic idea was supposed to be that no one is perfect/everyone makes mistakes, and the Father was supposed to be the extreme example even though I never. got. there. (I will get there in the edits, believe me.)

on a similar vein (and one that is actually present in the rough scratches that have gone up) people cannot be deemed strictly good or evil, least of all by their titles or labels. the Fallen are not automatically evil: in the end Giriko’s desperation is what warps him, and his rage against Falling is perfectly justified, while Maka is not justified in despising all Fallen.

15: What did you learn from writing this fic?

feedback is so important?? much as I like to say that I do what I do for my own pleasure, it’s probably mostly thanks to the support and interest that I was able to pretend to finish the draft.

also, if I gotta go for plot, I gotta actually plot out everything I want to put in :’D

well, sort of. there is soooo much extra content that i couldn’t shoehorn in by nature of how angelfic got slapped together, and at this point i’ve half-forgotten what’s been made explicit and what’s still sitting in the outline somewhere untouched, so if anyone wants clarification on anything (how or why certain characters Fell, what someone’s angelic name is, what some of the less mentioned or even unmentioned characters are up to, etc, etc) please please PLEASE ask. i will slowly be revising angelfic starting, oh, march, maybe april, and posting the revision to ao3, and the questions would be a HUGE help to let me know what to add!
