Mild-mannered and shy Clark Kent has just gotten his footing in Metropolis. He’s finally secured a job as a journalist at the Daily Planet, one of the most prestigious newspaper outlets in the world, and he works with some of the biggest names in the industry. The one issue is that they don’t like him very much. It’s okay though, because the Kent can-do attitude hasn’t failed him yet!

When newly-established writer and editor Cassidy Reverend Bright meets Clark, He’s… not thrilled, to say the least. If anything, he’s more terrified that he’ll ruin the reputation he just built because of his clumsiness. Whatever. A Bright works through problems and gets shit done. Brains over brawn.

It’s been two years since Superman came onto the scene, and one since the public began calling him that. He’s saved the city countless times, and is an inspiration to children everywhere, and Cassidy… isn’t too determined to figure out who he is. He’s an inspiration to all, and thats all he really needs to know. It isnt until he gets involved in a string of mysteries related to superman that he really begins wondering, and it isn’t until he solves some of those mysteries with clark that he begins to like him. But why does it feel like there’s more to him than he or anyone else will ever know?
