And here are some more or less crack theories about events I wouldn’t be surprised (read: that I would like) to see happen:

Rin will go to Gehenna (many demons over the course of the story were intrigued as to which side he would eventually take, implying in my opinion that he has to experience a journey through Gehenna before deciding)

Maybe Rin will go to Gehenna because they’ll realize that Shiemi’s Ego was trapped there after she summoned what’s left of Shemihaza or something (Uzai family is sketchy af)

I could see Kuro leading Rin’s Ego through Gehenna (since he’s his familiar and probably kin to Azazel)

Rin will meet ghost!Yuri in Gehenna and Yuri will eventually be key to defeating Satan

If in Gehenna, Rin will leave his hilt and scabbard to Shura (since she’s a Knight and his mentor)

While Rin tries to save the situation from Gehenna, Yukio will try to learn about the Uzai family and save the Moriyama family in Assiah (since he has known Shiemi’s mom for years and her grandma he, helped by Izumo, could make her talk)

Amaimon will be key to solving Shiemi’s predicament

I still think Takara Nemu is a nephilim of Armumahel

Lucifer will possess Arthur (since he’s such a perfect vessel)

Shura++ and possibly Yukio (or Lightning?) will help Arthur (paralleling the end of s1, since Arthur really needs to turn on the Uzai family and do what’s right)

Renzou will be in a bind trying to protect his friends until his family (Mamushi, Kinzou, Juuzou?) will come to his rescue

Totally down for either a Homare vs Shura (as some sort of Lucifer vs Mephisto projection)  or Mamushi (since Homare is Toudou’s daughter) fight

Mephisto will “die”, as in, his vessel won’t be able to resist whichever fight against Lucifer or Satan he’ll face next (no worries though, if that happens, then he’ll definitely come back)

We will witness some tasty action by the True Cross’ Suicide Squad (aka Lightning, Osceola, Lucy, Neuhaus +\- Suguro and Izumo)

Drac will either die or be jailed for life

Jeremiah Uzai will be punched in the face

No idea how Lucifer and Satan are going to stop seeking a vessel, but I guess the Okumura twins will solve the issue

Yuri’s “ghost” will eventually be able to move on, after defeating Satan and witnessing that her boys have a place in the world. Would be extra cool if she could move on with Shiro’s ghost (in the Amahara Garden of Heaven or something)
