The local singularity
The mind is not just shaped by the environment like clay in a mold. It emerges from the environment itself. In this sense, the mind and the world are continuous where the mind is part of the same system it experiences.
Saying the mind is “molded by the environment” creates a false separation: mind versus world. In reality, the mind is the environment expressed in a self-organizing, dynamic form.
Your thoughts, perceptions, and intuitions are not separate from the world. They are the world in a particular configuration, organized through your brain.
This view matches modern ideas in complex systems and embodied cognition: thinking does not happen in a vacuum. Cognition is the environment made active and local, shaped into awareness.
