So I did not realize that this would be a direct sequel to Gnomeo and Juliet, which I haven't seen, I thought it was a shared universe kind of deal. Not that it matters overmuch, because this is quite bad in ways that have nothing to do with that: from the vague plot to the ugly character design to the absolutely atrocious needle drops (seriously, the songs themselves were fine, but they very much did not work for the movie), this is a waste of anybody's time.
