Who owns this handsome dapper megafon lad?
Potentialforart owns the megaphone announcer! His name is Ashley.
Can you high-five with your tail-hand?
I can high five with with my tail, yea! Just...please not too hard.
Because PS didn’t want to cooperate you get only sketches.
Look at how I fail to draw scary creatures.
what do you do if you can't decide the colour scheme of something?
It depends on the subject. If I need to decide on the color of a species, for example, I try to find a good mix between color combinations I like, logically fitting colors/patterns (as in camouflage or mating display) and distinction from species I already have. Some characters also have color combinations that carry a meaning (opposing colors to make something stand out, show conflict or harmony, or some kind of relationship). With small things like Taka’s rainwear, I try to find a scheme that fits his own colors and the purpose of the clothing. Looking up some references always helps in every case, and sometimes, I just go wild on the color sliders or bomb the image with blurred photographs in overlay mode - sometimes, this playful approach is the better one because it reminds me to loosen up often enough :)

Oh hi! I saw an awesome picture of yours with a girl in a big hat and with a sword. Text under picture says nostalgia. I'm curious - what character is this? She looks vaguely familiar...
if i’m thinking of the same picture you are then it’s Sapphire from Osamu Tezuka’s Ribbon no Kishi!!
andworldbuildingtoo reblogged your photo:Oujo-sama twins. Tried to do more anime-ish...
Looks nice. But pose confuses me. What were you trying to do?
Laughing at enemies
andworldbuildingtoo replied to your photo “second layer of shading”
How many do you usually have?
overall layers or just shadows?
Overall I usually have about 100-150 layers. And I usually use 2 layers for shadows. Maximum 3.
