#andromeda asks

a lil reminder, these are all the main ttss ocs who are dusted: sandra, wynonna, nevea, indris, and camilla. 

robin: she goes through a major change in endgame which is obvs since she lost the one person who helped changed her life for the better. she dyes her hair pink, back to drinking, and isolates herself from basically everyone. she hates steve with a passion post iw because in catws, when sam decided to become the falcon again, robin asked steve not to get him killed. and,,, look what happened. but even though she hates him, dom begs her to join his support group so that robin could learn how to cope with everything and move on, which doesn’t work out too well because she curses steve out every chance she could get. but it’s a hard journey for her constantly getting her hopes up when the avengers try to come up with different ways on how to bring everyone back and always getting let down by it. so it makes sense on why she’s so upset and how she wants nothing to do with them anymore, even dom who is her best friend.

for the record, her problems don’t immediately go away when sam comes back. literally after five minutes of being alive, he’s the new captain america and robin is 100% not happy about it so they’re gonna have some issues in regards to that.

bonnie: since indris, thor, groot, and rocket went to earth, bonnie and the rest of the gang went to titan. then shit happens, everyone’s gone except her, tony, and nebula and they all get stuck in space. at first, it’s constant bickering ( mainly between nebula and bonnie ), but eventually, they all form a special bond and tony basically adopted them bc he’s such a dad. by the time carol comes in and saves them, bonnie is def in a much worse state than the other two. she was literally about to die when they all landed back on earth and she was rushed inside to the infirmary asap. because of that, she’s the last person to find out about what happened to indris and god it just tears her apart. she highkey wishes she would’ve died in space so that she could be with her family again. other than that, i still don’t have major ideas for her as of yet. i think i just need to rewatch the movie again ( believe it or not, i’ve only seen in once ) and focus on what i want to do with her. but i def see her tag teaming with nebula or rocket since they’re the last family she has left. bUT i do know that bonnie and gamora will be a-okay since they knew each other long before gotgv1 so they’re gonna have a cute ass reunion and i’m happy about that.

andromeda: besides dom, andromeda is my favorite character in this series for a number of reasons and a large part of it has to do with iw and endgame. so after all the ragnarok shit and then thanos decides to take down thor’s spaceship, andromeda and the rest of the asgardians/nibirians flee to nibiria to regroup and figure out a plan. as they do that, everyone thinks that whoever was left on the spaceship is dead ( which is obviously true except thor and bruce ). instead of mourning which is what a lot of people wanted, andromeda immediately goes into war mode and wants to find out where thanos is and kill him before more innocent people die. and ofc avenge the fallen. then shit happens, andromeda’s entire family and her best friend, julian, dust and their plan falls through the drain. hOwEvEr, a day or two later, all of the remaining asgardians and nibirians travel down to wakanda because that’s where the energy source was and that is how the whole gang reunites. then they go to norway, start their own place where asgard and nibiria are ONE and it’s alright for a while. i’m not gonna go into more detail because i’m gonna completely rewrite thor since the russos said fuck taika so i still need to figure that shit out before i come up with more ideas. what i do know is that thor and andromeda run that shit as king and queen and they’re THAT power couple.

8. Its all in the family. Explain their relationship with Alec, Ellen, and their sibling. If you changed anyone’s names or added a different sibling in your canon, explain why.

I went with Alec being distant (if loving and protective in his own, seriously seriously dysfunctional way) but I don’t see Ellen as any better at emotional parenting, just more available.  I think Ellen was extremely focused on her career to the point that, until they all went to the Citadel, the kids were raised by her parents on a piece of land (euphemistically called The Farm, but only 5 acres in reality) east of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex.)  She becomes a better parent as the kids get older, verbal, and more amenable to logic and consequence.  Alec tries to be a fun parent when he gets to be home, so it falls on her to be the heavy until she gets sick.  

Leah and Scott are close but they have very different personalities.  Scott takes things to heart, so Leah tends to try and deflect.  He charges and she sees the field. When they work together they balance and when they separate they tend to think, “what would L/S do?”  It works more often than it doesn’t.  

12. Explain the way they feel about their squadmates, both initially and over the course of the story.

She’s glad for the breadth of experience she’s got in them, she’s pretty sure she’s gonna need them.  The only one she knew at all was Cora, she’s been Alec’s second for awhile and she’s just grateful Cora’s willing to back her up.  She doesn’t remember meeting Liam before she woke up, only that if Dad had picked him he had to be good at his job.  It strikes her as odd but sweet that he’s the one waiting for her to wake up.  She’s been around enough to know a scavenger is a good thing to have, so Vetra is welcome.  Peebee scares the crap out of her.  All forward go, no consequences.  Drack is fascinating for her, everything he’s seen.  Jaal is …it surprises her.  He doesn’t seem to like them (understandably)  but he’s so willing to lay himself open.  She has to restrain herself from trying to pick his brain about everything.  

There were many things Andromeda dwelled over while she remained trapped on Sakaar. But the major one was definitely not staying on Asgard when the Kong’s first born son had asked. The silver-haired woman mentally cursed herself for centuries for being so foolish as to declining his request and wanting to return back to Nibiria, only to get sucked out of the aircraft and landing in a strange planet.

The thing is, she never really knew why she said no to Thor. It wasn’t that she didn’t love him because she did without a doubt, but she never understood why her mouth couldn’t utter the words she wanted to say.

And when the first born son had arrived on Sakaar, all of Andromeda’s feelings rushed in like a wave. From the moment she laid eyes on him after all those years, she remembered every kiss they shared and every night they spent together as if it didn’t happen so long ago. But she couldn’t afford to focus on that while they were coming up with their fool-proof plan to escape the savage planet, defeat the goddess of death, and rescue the people of Asgard.

Once they did, Andromeda and Thor waited for a moment to speak alone. It took a couple of hours for everything to calm down, and there they were in his chambers, as if history were repeating itself.

“I wish I never left Asgard that day,” she admitted, feeling a weight being lifted from her shoulders after keeping it in for so many years. “I wish I stayed with you.”

Thor shook his head as he slowly approached her. “No, no, it was selfish of me to ask that of you when you put your planet’s needs before your own. A good queen knows what’s best for their planet and that’s all you were trying to do.” He stopped a few steps away from her, towering her small height.

Andromeda smiled. “Well now it’s your turn to choose what’s best.”

“I think I’ll be pretty good at that.” The god smirked down at her as she scoffed at his overly-confident response. “After all, all my choices lead me to you.”

Everything seemed to stop as those words left his mouth. They gazed at each other, but in a different way than usual. It was as if seeing each other from another perspective, one where they both know where they stood with each other. It was foreign concept to them, but Andromeda and Thor were open to that change.

In the end, it wasn’t a repeat of history. This time, they were finally ready and able to move forward. No more games, no more agreements.
