I have yet to pay more than $60 for a pen, but the Benu pens are really pretty. The tribute has a nice grip, and the Edelweiss design would be a good match for Anderillium Luna Moth Green (my beloved).
Not yet...but maybe someday.
It's not all bad in my life, despite my complaints. Anderillium Cuttlefish Brown is really good, and I'm really glad I bought it.
For those who are unaware, Anderillium created this ink to mimic the appearance of actual cuttlefish ink, the original sepia ink, but without the fishy smell.
Anderillium Cuttlefish Brown
Picture of a swatch of this ink (sorry for the bad quality). Those bottom left tendrils of ink were taking so long to dry I blotted them up. The range of color is kinda impressive, I have to say! Inking my Kakuno up with this in a bit.
Cleaned the Anderillium Rosy Maple Moth Pink out of my TWSBI Eco. Gotta let it dry, but I can't decide what to ink it with next. I definitely wanna go with something that looks good out of a wet stub. Maybe my sample of Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo or Diamine Ancient Copper.

Glad I decided to sample Anderillium Rosy Maple Moth Pink before I bought a bottle. Been writing with it for a bit, and the color doesn't suit me after all. Behaves fine, just too bright.
My mood right now is for shading browns~
Bought myself a bottle of Anderillium Tolype Moth Warm as a treat since I got a promotion.
Two of my faves
Swatches in my Midori MD notebook of two of my absolute favorite inks: Anderillium Luna Moth Green and Diamine Ancient Copper.
LMG is such a faerie green to me. It is pretty light and dry and really benefits from a broader, wetter nib. I bought my first eco with a stub specifically for this ink. I blind-purchased a bottle.
Diamine Ancient Copper is well-loved by many for good reason. I love the way it shades in writing, thought it doesn't really show on this example. I'm using up a sample of it right now, but I definitely want a bottle in the future.
