When Anne asks her what R*chefort rewarded her with for betraying them, why didn’t M*rguerite say, you know, “I’m sorry”, or anything about him pressuring, threatening, and blackmailing her, and if there was anything she could do to help? Even if she was too scared to try rescuing anyone, what about doing a small act of kindness and bringing the dauphin to Anne, esp since she

1. Didn’t care about him

In 2x06, she stands behind his basket, instead of in front of it so that…the guy who they think is about to come into the room and murder them…can kill Anne and the not-even-a-year-old baby ((who also happen to be the Queen of France and the future king (and it’s her job to be responsible for him)) first…and give her time to escape???

In 2x10, she tells Anne he’s being taken care of AS you hear him crying, announces her conclusion that the dauphin is Aramis’ son to the court instead of keeping it to herself and answering “I don’t know” or “Maybe he cared for him so much because he was better at my job than I was” or “Maybe when I was alone with the baby was the time when it was least likely for us to be seen together,” and then kills herself right in front of the dauphin.

2. Was terrible at taking care of him

In 2x03, how long was she going to wait to talk to someone about the dauphin being possibly ill? Why not go to Anne at the time she was supposed to bring him to her, if not earlier? Like Constance came looking for her because she was late and only then did she say anything.

Was there any time when she alone was capable of getting him to stop crying??

Not to mention the fact that Anne, Constance, and even L*uis a bit, often had him, so like, she didn’t even have to take care of him as much as she could have had to ((which left her more time to fantasize and delude herself about how much Aramis loved her))

I’ve seen people talk about how Anne turns into a Great Green Monster of Jealousy (a MASSIVE exaggeration which isn't even completely correct to begin with) but ignore the fact that M*rguerite’s jealousy caused her to turn to The Dark Side™, and for a bunch of people to be attacked, killed, and nearly killed.

In 2x07, instead of going to R*chefort empty-handed and saying she wasn’t able to get the cross off Aramis, she takes it and brings it to him because she already thinks it’s from Anne and she wants to confirm that Anne has stolen her lover’s affections and prevented him from being with her. She also volunteers information on Anne and Aramis that could lead to an affair being discovered and them being killed. She could have left it at “Nothing for certain” but she keeps talking and gives R*chefort further confirmation and then goes oops, I’ve said too much, “it’s just my foolish jealousy.”

Then, rather than go to Aramis or Anne (or even Constance if she didn’t want to face them) and warning them about R*chefort and telling them that he’s blackmailing her, she returns the cross, acting like everything is fine and dandy, and cackleing says “You never know what trouble it might have caused.” Like, you can’t tell me she isn’t fully aware that some trouble WILL come of this and knowingly rubbed it in Aramis’ face.

Whereas in 2x04 she said she couldn’t betray Anne’s trust, now that she’s aware that Aramis has feelings for Anne (She doesn’t even know how deep those feelings are on either side. She only knows that Aramis wears a necklace Anne gave him and that she saw them making eyes at each other one day after he rescued Anne and her baby. She doesn’t even figure out the dauphin is Aramis’ son until the trial) she basically wants Anne, who has always been nice to her and comforted her in 2x06 even though Anne thought Aramis had just died and she was just as scared, to die?
