I think just the general scariness and the way he presents himself. He’s so imposing. And at the same time we know it’s just an act. He puts EFFORT in how he wants to be perceived and just in general I think that’s pretty hot.

Thomas: he doesn't cope, he just sits in the air conditioning and complains lmao

This is a bit late compared to the rest of All In asks but a brain worm of a question just hit me while I was sitting in my history lecture;

do you think any of the Shiratorizawa trio would develop a dacryphilia kink since tears are salty like the reader’s scent?

This thought literally came out of nowhere but I ended up zoning out in class wondering how they would make her cry.

oh without a doubt. it's not so much the salty scent/taste as her getting all teary in general.

tendou's a certified freak, semi's got a bit of a sadistic streak and that sort of comes with the territory, as far as ushijima goes, he tells himself it's unavoidable. he's big for an alpha, bigger when he knots – of course she's going to cry. he cannot help the hardwired part of him that finds some sort of male, alpha satisfaction – pleasure – from that. if that response carries over to other non-sexual situations, it's hardly unexpected.

Hiiiiiii~ ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡ commentary coming right up!

Guide Me Back to You was a fic that just sort of ‘happened’ to me. Once I realized that fic writing was a thing I was really doing now, ideas for an amnesia fic (one of my favorite tropes) just started spilling out at a rate that really alarmed me. XD So I just started gathering everything up and before I knew it I had 20k words. Without a doubt, this is my favorite fic and the one I’m proudest of.

The title comes from a lyric in ‘Northern Lights,’ my favorite song by Renaissance. The song really has nothing to do with the themes of the fic so it wasn’t on my radar, but I listened to it one day and knew I had my title. Because I was also inspired by the tradition of ‘calling the spirit on the seventh day,’ which is why Yin Yu remembers everything on the sixth evening – his spirit has been guided home.

The little dog spirit at the ghost qi milk tea stand was inspired by a minigame google had on their homepage for a while where you make bubble tea for different ghost and yokai customers. Does anyone remember that? XD

This fic made me realize how hard I ship huayin – that scene of them in the library still makes me giddy and ridiculous, and I’m really proud of how it came out.

Speaking of the library, the quanyin library date night was supposed to be cute and harmless, but it ended up making me cry so bad (like most of the fluff in this fic). Oops.

The fake jade bracelet was just a sweet moment that I didn’t realize until the next morning would remind them of Yin Yu’s cursed shackle. I had to spend eight hours at work trying to process that revelation without looking like a crazy person.

The way I ended quanyin’s last really positive interaction in the fic (where Yin Yu almost kisses Quan Yizhen) with the words “next time” made me laugh maniacally. I felt like such a monster. >:3

This fic got my first really long comment! I still remember standing in the airport reading it after coming home from my birthday trip to France, and how extra emotional it made me. ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡

Is It Enough That I’m Playing the Part! My anti-Valentine’s fic! ^0^ I set myself the challenge to write angst for each quanyin week prompt and to make it one cohesive fic with a template of past and present scenes for each chapter while I was at it. Because that’s how I approach my hobbies. XD I really wasn’t sure that I was going to succeed.

I honestly know next to nothing about hanahaki. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I had never read a fic with it before, just did a quick search and saw one really good post about using it for something other than unrequited love, and then I was off! (I never really explained exactly what the curse was, and feel like that was kind of lazy, but I also felt like it didn’t really matter? These things just happen sometimes, right?)

I really enjoyed writing He Xuan’s scenes for this fic. He invited himself in, by the way, so I was stuck feeling extra affectionate about him for a few weeks. <3

The jianyin scenes were ‘just because.’ I’m at the point where I will never turn down an opportunity to include Jian Shi in something!

My favorite scene in this entire fic is hualian’s (failed) attempt to intervene. Something about it is so vivid in my mind, from their expressions to their posture to the tone of their voices. I just love having all four of them in a room together.
