Honestly so excited for Campaign 4 purely because—if it works the way I think it will—we will have so much time where canon for a given character or group of characters holds fucking still.

I swear to god if I see one more non book fan insisting that Lestat hated Claudia and wanted her to die on here I’m going to put my head through a wall. You act like they don’t take the books into account at all and ignore what Sam actually SAID about it. As I said on another post about this Sam said that the way Lestat is acting is supposed to bring into question how much control he has on the situation. And if you READ THE GOD DAMN BOOKS you’d know the coven fucking TORTURED him and forced him to testify against Louis and Claudia. He used all his fucking energy to save Louis. That was fucking confirmed too. But no, you’re going to ignore the source material because you apparently can’t be fucked to learn about the books that they are DIRECTLY using as a reference for the show. Lestat hysterically cries over her fucking death but no no he hated her. He tries to fucking kill himself over her death in the books. I am so done with these wack ass people mischaracterizing my favorite fucking character (who spoiler alert is literally the main character of almost all the books, not Louis, not Armand, LESTAT) because they have the media literacy of a toddler.
