River wakes up slowly, noticing Rylan sleeping peacefully by his side. He notices there's dried up tear marks down Rylan's eyes and he presses his lips to a thin line, furrowing his brow. His body feels stiff and there's a nagging pain on his chest. He brushes Rylan's cheek gently, trying not to wake him up. There is a slight movement from him, but to River’s relief he doesn’t wake up. Fannar smiles and plays with his mommy's hairs, chewing on it slightly to test if its edible, making a grimace as it clearly wasn't sticking his tongue out. 

Hayle sits in his kitchen drinking coffee, with no Chris, he doesn't seem to be able to sleep. 

River slowly and carefully pulls away from Rylan, careful not to wake him up. He sits on the edge of the bed, holding back the need to cough and gets up, walking to the bathroom, closing the door so he can cough without waking Rylan. He'd been having coughing fits, usually associated with a sudden pain in his chest and lungs, but he knew he was healed. He walks back into the room once his coughing fit calmed down and smiles worriedly at the sleeping Rylan, realizing he should probably take this chance to go talk with Vy and he walks out of the room.

“No, vamy's hair ain't eatable!”

He giggles, noticing Hayden look at him for a few seconds, before he goes back to sleep. He giggles at Fannar, giving Hayden a smile, but there is some concern in his smile. He knew Hayden was tired, but it stressed him not to be able to feel anymore how low or high he was on energy.

“How about we go see grandpa and we can make you some fruit milkshake the way you like so much.”

He walks to the door to Hayle's side and knocks on it gently.

“Come on in.”

He looks at the door, already hearing the happy chirps of Fannar, smiling at Vy when he enters. 

“Hayden is still asleep?”

He puts the coffee cup out of range for small hands, not quite sure a little baby dragon should have coffee. 

“And how are you, I mean I can see that Fannar is fine and happy, but you?” “Yes. He was tired so I let him sleep... Fannar is hungry.”

He smiles sadly at Hayle.
