ive started detailing a cool (i think) story that would be PERFECT as a kind of combat focused metroidvania but i dont. know how to fucking code. like at all. so all is lost for the time being.
“Oh, 3D art is so cool, being an animator must be awesome, blah blah”
This is what I stare at for eight hours straight
i will say i genuinely don’t know how any adaptation of homestuck could work, because i really think it’s told in the only medium it can be fully told in

While watching the latest episode of TDAC I was trying to figure out how the hell Kinger made the butterfly.
I've seen some things about him being a developer which is why apparently? I dunno man I don't really keep up with what's said to be maybe? Cannon outside of said media cause it's confusing.
Anyways
Either way I have a hc that the longer a human conscious stays in the circus the less human they become, and the length of time for losing their humanity mentally differs from each person e.g Jax dehumanising himself to play his character, kinger being mad majority of the time except when in the dark, ragatha still being half stable half absolutely crumbling.
But after someone has been in the circus for long enough they start to figure out how to manipulate the code and do things like CAINE.
They start integrating into the systems on a deeper level, they start to see the numbers and HTML/java/python/other coding medium files they start to understand it, and it becomes se and nature. They start to become one with it, learning how to manipulate and bend the moldable reality around them. Because in the end, they're all built from one's and zeros in a world where physics or natural laws don't apply. Surely they can do more than just play by CAINE's rules?

Process 90%. With a little luck and health I’ll get this thing finished in a few days!
