when i hear pompeii by bastille i rly have such a vivid memory of being 16 and being so in love w my hs bf that we would meet up on a side street between our neighborhoods after i was done w swim practice but before i had to be home just to sit in my car and talk together for 20 minutes while the radio played. like a love so intense we couldn’t wait 12 hours to see each other at school again the next day. i just miss having so much vibrancy n passion that love was more important to me than anything n it was really all i could think about all the time, and not being around the person i loved for even a second was torture
