From the coastal reaches of New England, Rhode Island-based ANCIENT TORMENT have emerged as a leading torchbearer in the region's black metal underground. The band formed around the core dominion established by guitarist Tormentum and drummer Zealot (both erstwhile members of Witch King) during the winter of 2016, with a handful of short-length releases in the years that followed. Now, nearly a decade after their inception, ANCIENT TORMENT are prepared to unleash their first full-length. Aptly titled Follow the Echo of Curses, the band's debut album is an immersive, introspective journey through the shadows of abysmal suffering and mysteries of death's embrace.
