Whats the deal with vampires and fae? Some kinda rivalry/situation going on?
Imagine an entire species of lawyers that are extremely petty. Should you break any rule near them no matter how miner then they will own you name, body, and soul. Plus they have rules of there own that must be followed such as the laws of hospitality. If you are seen as rude then that counts as breaking the rules.
The reason vampires specifically hold a grudge against them is because we cant eat them no matter how hard we try. Fey law states that if you eat any food giving to you by a member of the fey then they will own you. If you attack them then that breaks the rules of hospitality and then they will own you. So there's no way for a vampire to obtain there blood. It's just a constant annoyance trying to navigate all the rules that must be followed at all times to make sure the fey cant get you. And sense vampires are functionally immortal the fey see us as perfect servent should a vampire break one of there rules.
