Imagining some sort of dread nightmare being has invaded Taskmaster and we see everyone cowering as it bellows that such tasks are beneath it.
But then by episode four it's getting all snippy when it hands over a prize task and Greg asks if they REALLY want to take over the world or just phone it in, and the nightmare being feigns shame as it gets two points, narrowly beating out Isy Suttie, and by episode six it and Bill Bailey are called the Chuckle Brothers by Greg after their team's effort to make a canoe capable of keeping Alex from capsizing in a wave pool results in about an hour of them debating the "floatability" of household objects.
And it was really heartwarming in episode eight when the nightmare being finally won an episode and got to run around on stage playing with its newly won "most surprising things to find in a medicine cabinet."
