ooc; After months spent deep in research to investigate the disease that has inflicted so many of those he loves - and himself - Alexei aided some of his friends in their exploration of an abandoned Eldan system.
They met a mysterious Eldan AI named V.E.L.A. who had created horrific metallic amalgamations of false creatures to keep her company while her programs degraded over time. They sought to absorb the genetic material of those who trespassed to make their incomplete bodies whole.
Only time will tell how much of the data they extracted will be useful, but Alexei is grateful for any medical advancements they can find.
