Had a delectable time at Lindley’s Farm, Ancaster, for the last of their pick your own strawberry season! We were late on the band wagon and despite being warned the left over pickings would be smaller, we still found the abundance a plenty. Don’t be fooled by the dinky size, these sharp red things were bombs of strawberry flavour, 100x the taste of your regular gmo jumbo sized store bought variety. These tiny things pack a punch, imagine getting smacked in the face with berry goodness! We were actually lucky to have gone when we did because we got there just in time for the start of their raspberry picking season and got our first pick there. There were other berries just starting up too like gooseberries and currants but baby had to go down for a nap. Regardless, I’m looking forward to returning when the kids are older and employing their tiny hands and optimal height in the future. A fantastic family affair that’ll foster a good work ethic, complete with a wonderful little bakery with homemade pies, tarts and jams, and a surprisingly clean outhouse as well 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓#lindleysfarm #ancaster #artcritic https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf2t49RtRFf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
