Good morning good people's. People wasn't lying when they say you learn the basics in hair school. Here I am with 20 plus years in the hair game and I'm STILL learning. I'm reading this book about "CURLY GIRLS" and I'm learning about how women with curly hair feel and how they want their natural curly hair to look. Most people in general feel that curly hair is unruly. That it should be straightened. It never looks good. Looks dry. Limp. Brittle. Well that's probably because most people haven't been properly trained on how to care for their curly hair. Usually people want to cut it off or flat iron it. Well I'm learning how to take a different approach to ladies with curly hair. This is a really informative book. It's quite a bit in this book that I don't agree with. But I haven't dealt with a lot of women with a variety of curly hair who wants to wear it in its natural curly state and not AN AFRO! And again Pivot Point taught me the basics. So here I go learning something "NEW" (to me) again.
