Human Anatomy Model Explained: the Cardiovascular System

Usually, I don't rush my process, but this time it was personal. I had only three days (Friday to Sunday) to complete my part of this collaboration for AranVT before leaving for Japan on a Monday at 7 AM.

In this first episode, I cover the technical setup of the base structure: head, arms, neck, and clavicle, treating it with the structure of a Vtuber model base. It’s a mid-tier piece for me technically, but the speedrun aspect made it wild.

We are officially moving into the rendering stage for the main character asset! In this episode, I'm breaking down the implementation of the basic skin shadows and integrating them with the initial ambient lighting details.

Many illustrators rush into complex soft gradients or reflections too early, but starting with a solid, understandable basic shading pass is crucial. It defines the structural masses of the face and ensures the layers remain clean and optimized for future animation.

Next up for the general public release! Today we are looking at the base color layout for the Bishonen character from the first month of the challenge.

When working with minimal clothing, balancing the flat skin tones and establishing the anatomical masses before the rendering stage requires a very specific technical approach. I broke my principal rule for this challenge: no fanarts. But as the clock keeps ticking after my Japan trip, I needed a strategic piece to grab the attention of Jujutsu lovers and the fujoshi community alike.

The concept is simple: Season 1 Gojo being an absolute show-off, telling Yuji to switch with Sukuna just to take a smug photo together. During the live stream, half the chat was convinced they were about to kiss because of Sukuna's wild expression. Technically, balancing their interactions and facial structures in clean lineart was a great exercise.

I truly want to live off my art, and learning how to feed the algorithm while maintaining technical quality is part of the game..
