I’m so sorry you and your son have to deal with this. Kids can be so very cruel. Bullying is always a tough thing, because you can’t always change how others behave. Have you tried contacting the school about it? Even if they can’t do much, it might be good for them to know that it’s happening.

Sometimes the only thing we can do for kids who are getting bullied is help them deal with it, since we can’t control the other kids. If you can, it might be a good idea to contact a pediatric psychologist, since they can help your son find coping strategies to deal with it. This next one kind of depends on where you live, but hobbies or other groups outside of school might give your son a chance to make friends with other kids. 

I really wish there was more I could say to help. Bullying and teasing from other kids is something I dealt with in school too, so I know how painful it can be. If nothing else, be there for your son. Listen to him and how he feels, so he knows that no matter what, you’ll still be there for him. As he gets older, make sure he knows there are places like this blog for people who deal with the same things he does, and he isn’t alone.
