Given the fact that Pelops and Amphion are implied to be best friends since Pelops' sister Niobe was married to him imagine if he was still alive when he learned that Laius - the snotty kid he sent to the Peloponnese to be raised there until he would eventually rule over Thebes as an adult - kidnapped and raped his best friend's son:
