#OnThisDay August 30, 1988 DANZIG released their debut studio album which charted at #125 on the @billboardcharts and is certified platinum. The album contains the singles #Mother #AmIDemon & #TwistOfCain. This definitely simplified Glenn’s new direction. At first I was worried that when I heard that #RicRubin was involved that I was gonna be AC/DC-ish like The Cult’s “Electric,” but it was a great pairing acquiring JonChrist & ChuckBiscuit to go with Glen & EerieVon. While my favorites are the following two release, Danzig’s first release is a gem of it’s own. This album still holds up and what I've missed about the current Danzig line up is the guitar tone of John Christ. Stellar fills as well from Chuck Biscuits.
