Kara hadn't been hit with whatever the rest of them had been stuck in. She'd watched Nat get hit by the girl, red passing from one to the other and all she could think it was had to be magic. It made her hesitate and she hated herself for it. Each one of her team had seen something different, none of them talking about it but as her father took off, she walked over to Bruce, wrapping a blanket around his arms before pressing a kiss to the top of his head.
She knew how hard all of this was on him, so many people hurt or killed. Kara had got a ton of them out before they'd left but she knew that she'd need to return once she knew everyone was alright.
Once she'd finished with Bruce, she looked towards Natalia and she knew that Clint would take care of her and when he noticed she was looking, he nodded, Kara doing the same back. Finally, she turned to look at Steve as her father and him were doing what they do, argue about things. What bothered her more was that she knew Steve better than anyone else and he looked shook. Kara had never seen him look as though he didn't know what to do. She stood up and moved over to him, taking his hand and moving towards the back of the jet. He didn't seem to fight her but even if he did, she would have forced him to come and sit down.
Once he'd taken a seat she stood betwen his legs and wiped the blood from his head. She sighed, "Steve, what happened in there. I saw something red pass from the girl's hand to Natalia and then... well then she was out of it. There was another one that was running almost as fast as I can and that's kinda terrifying but he's not used to it. He can't control it. I could tell when I watched him. He also didn't know what to do when he noticed I was just as fast as him."
She shook her head, hands resting on his shoulders. "What did you see when she sent the red stuff into your mind and whispered to you. I know you might not want to talk about it but we need to know what happened so we can possibly fight it..."
