The 2 part premiere was brilliant because it basically addressed the only concern I was gonna have with this series which was whether or not it would get repetitive just staying in the hospital all day. But it seems like Takao and Kotori are going to be out solving cases with forensic investigators and the police as well, just giving that medical expertise and professional perspective. Very similar to House. The blue blood case was really interesting and I can’t wait to see where we go from here

Bro the way I was so ready to start complaining about how predictable and easy to figure out this case was when Yuuta got arrested lol. Like no way they’re really making it the most obvious person in the world, but what a twist at the end! RIP Murota, I was really hoping he’d pull through after Ikari and Aoi didn’t, but it’s confirmation our culprit is still out there.. or could it really be the curse? Struggling to think of something that could cause flames to burst out of Murota like that.. but next episode’s finale should be great.

That’s probably not even the saddest death of the episode tho. RIP Kotori’s RX-8 man I know he mad as hell 😭 hopefully he had insurance.

Going back to the kids pretending to be sick to stay and comfort Kenta during his last days.. wow, can you imagine friends who would literally risk their lives by stopping their fucking hearts just to stay close to you and make you feel better? I was so ready to complain about how the culprits ended up being underwhelming, but the rationale for their actions is what makes this twist so good.

"All I could do was read a picture book to him" ... fuck. While this arc was excrutiantingly painful, I think it was necesaary for Takao to realize just how powerless doctors really are. When the good lord says it's your time, you're going. The series had sort of hyped her up as an almost superhero like character and this brought her back down to Earth. Yes, she's smart as hell and the doctor I'd want caring for me, but she is still just a human at the end of the day and we're all just living at the mercy of fate. This should help her become a much better doctor and person going forward. My one complaint is wtf Kotori, you see Takao crying her eyes out and you cut the music on instead of hugging her? That annoyed tf outta me lmao. HUG A CRYING GIRL ffs.

Not the parents giving her Kenta's cap too... FUCK and him dying on Christmas makes everything 1000x sadder. Just a tearful episode all around. The detective episodes are great, but there's something so profound about these simple medical cases.

The twins having epilepsy was about what I expected, it’s clearly not a supernatural show and the only explanation for a video doing that is the flashlight lights. Actually crazy to learn that you can have those involuntary movements when seizing up! The sisters both being epileptic was also a nice way to pay off the younger one saying they had nothing in common but their faces earlier in the ep. Epilepsy not exactly something to brag about, but she does share that with her sis lol.

Sumida and Takao beefing in this ep was fucking hilarious. Of course it’s all because takao showed her up in front of a patient in the past. 😂 I’m ok with a resident correcting a supervising physician in private, but she was out of line to embarrass her supervisor publicly like that lmao. Takao better hurry up and make a move with Takanashi though before her older sister does!

As soon as I peeped it was the kid from the first episode, I knew the mom was behind it again. Japan's equivalent of CPS should have been on alart after that, but to put your kid life in danger AGAIN for no legitimate reason is inexcusable. She needs to permanently lose motherhood privileges.

LMAO at Takao saying she would make the mom apologize and admit her guilt in front of everyone and she did just that. Cmon now, I knew my GOAT would never misdiagnose an illness. Omg that ending scene was too sad. 8 years old battling Leukemia.. I feel like this is gonna be one of the first cases we have had where Takao fails and doesn't save a patient, especially coming off the high of this case where she proved herself a medical genius again. She's still human and this is not a supernatural series so people will die and she'll have to push thru that. Excited for this next arc.

Takao and Kotori crumbs ahhhh. We don’t get enough relationship teasing with them in this series(need more), but I love that car scene. Kotori know damn well he was happy as hell to get a hug from Takao lmao. I’m also wondering how much Mazda paid for the product placement in this show 😂 swear we get 2-3 Mazda plugs per ep.

It seems like Kuwata having an affair with Seguchi is getting a lot of focus so did Yuko or someone she know set this up? Can’t really see what they’d get out of this, I’m stumped though. This author knows how to keep you guessing that’s for sure.

P.S how do people live with trash in their house like that man that shit is one of my biggest pet peeves when watching anime how tf does a grown man allow their living space to become that sloppy.
