Kill or Die by William W. Johnstone My rating: 3 of 5 stars Number 3 in the series of ‘Flintlock’ and either the writer changed or somebody got in a big hurry to hit a deadline. Meet Amber Thomas:
The youngest of the Thomas children, Amber was always watched (to her dismay) by her two older protective brothers: Jacob and Eddie. As a result, Amber was very shy and a goody goody. That all changed when she met David Collins: a partier with a heart of gold. He brought Amber out of her shell and year later, he finally popped the question. However that romance did not last, David’s old friend Lynn still had feelings for him and they had an affair. Amber refused to let him back in and kicked him out. While pursuing her cooking career she met Daniel Monroe: a journalist. The two became smitten and are currently engaged and trying to make it on their own.
