Steps:

1.   Start the ‘Amazon’ app on your Smartphone or tablet.

2.   Log in to your Amazon account, when prompted. If you’re logged in previously, then you’ll not be asked.

3.   Then tap the ‘Hamburger’ (three stacked lines) icons at the upper left corner of the main screen.

4.   Select ‘Your Account’ from the menu.

5.   Now go to the ‘Dash Devices.’

6.   And select ‘Set up a new device.’

7.   Select ‘Dash Button,’ when prompted to choose the device type.

8.   Terms and conditions will now appear on your screen, read them thoroughly.

9.   And tap on ‘Agree & Get Started’ to accept them and continue.

10. Now, keep going with the on screen prompts to connect your Dash Button to the Wi-Fi.

11. When you are asked to select a product, choose the product that you want to reorder by using your Dash button. If you’re selecting a product that has categories and size, such as laundry detergent, then you can also select the size and scent you want.

12 .Check and confirm the shipping and payment details. This is the information that is used when you place an order with the Dash button, so check them carefully.

13.  If you want to update the One-Click shipping and payment details, then visit ‘Manage Addresses and One-Click settings.’

14.    When you are done setting up everything, tap on ‘Complete Setup’ to finish.

Your Amazon Dash Button will start working. Now, place an order for the product you’ve selected by your Dash Button with just one click.

 How to manage the notification settings for your Dash Button

Whenever you or anyone presses the Dash Button, it will place an order for the selected product. While it is a great way to reorder your most used or favorite product, but there’s also a drawback. You or your kid might accidentally place an order. Luckily you can manage notifications to know whether an order is placed with the Dash button. Here is how.

3.   Select ‘Your Account’ from the menu.

4.   Now go to the ‘Dash Devices.’

7.   Then tap and enable the switch of ‘Dash Button Updates.’

8.   Use the ‘Edit’ option to adjust the setting.

Now, you’ll receive the notification for the order placed with Your Dash Button. This will also help you to know whether your order is successful or failed.

Some Dash Buttons let you choose a variety of products to reorder. If you want to manage the product you order with your Dash button, then follow these steps.

1.   Open your ‘Amazon’ app.
