Pickle brand ranking for my own pleasure hehe
Phenomenal:
Claussen’s (overall favorite)
Nathan’s (harder to find here in Oregon but gorgeous)
Gus’s (favorite fermented)
Mrs klein’s (favorite gas station)
Pretty good to mid:
Bubbies (very good fermented pickle but not excellent due to texture and quality control issues)
Boars head (a once in a while treat)
Oh snap (mid but will do in a pinch)
Van holten’s (objectively bad but I will eat and enjoy on a road trip)
Vile/will not eat:
Vlasic’s
Mt. Olive (both are obvious)
Grillos (it’s just a rather plain half sour I don’t know how they label them anything else)
Mcclures (the worst by far)
