At4W's Amalgam month really has reignited my love for this verse (if only temporarily), so let's head back to my Amalgam Fanniverse for some new stuff; reused art, updated art, new art, and new lore!

Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich weren't kidding when they said they wanted a big family, and here are all of the kids that were the result of their relationship. In the context of their family, both Pie and Cheese are in an open relationship, and they both take advantage of that dynamic as the terms of their romps are loose at best. 😅

Though they are both in an open relationship, Pinkie, especially, takes every opportunity to have her fun, though Cheese doesn't mind too much and is super into his own affairs as well. They just do whatever and it works for them lol

Anyway, here's a bit about each of the kids:

Carnival Cabaret: 

She was born shortly before Pinkie and Cheese even got married as the two weren't exactly picky about the timing of her birth. She was the result of a cryptic pregnancy, and Pinkie didn't even know that she was pregnant until she suddenly went into labor on the day of. Despite this, they were happy to welcome their first addition into the Pie/Cheese Family, and named her Carnival as they figured she'd be a lot of fun to raise...though that wasn't exactly how things went. 

She could be described as unusual and a bit reclusive, though undeniably bright, taking great interest in science, particularly biology, at a young age, often dabbling with strange magic in her lonesome. 

Her parents never pushed or pried into her personal life, allowing her to do as she pleased much of the time as they took a more laid back method of parenting and let her do as she wanted, generally. Eventually, after getting her cutie mark, a circus tent to identify her destiny to enter into the show business of entertainment. They would be ecstatic, though they couldn't have known that her ambitions in science and magic would lead her down a path depravity and abominable ambition. 

Milk Dud:

Second Born just after Pinkie and Cheese got married, he was born just a year after Carnival. His pregnancy was much more apparent. Though he was sudden as the two don't generally believe in any protection of any sort, they actually had time to prepare this time and welcomed him in on a dreary, storm afternoon, and that would set the precedent for the kind of foal he would grow up to be. 

Despite his size, taking after Cheese in height though his build was far stockier and rounder due to his propensity for sweets and candy, Milky (as Pinkie often lovingly calls him) is a delicate, sensitive soul. Quick to cry and even quicker to spook, he hates pranks and does everything he can to avoid them, though that means staying clear of his little brother, Rush, as he loves frightening his older brother. He stays close by his younger sister, Cranberry, as he finds her comforting, but he stays as far away from Carnival as he can as, though he says nothing about it, he's seen what she does when she's alone, and she's made him promise to keep his mouth shut...lest he become the recipient of her famous ire.

He does, however, have a penchant for his namesake, and hopes to one day open up a milkshake parlor where he make his sweet treats in piece without worrying about the unsavory things he's seen Carnival do.

Cranberry Crêpe:

Cranberry is about unlike her parents as a Pie and Cheese kid could be. Though she has a gift for making all manner of pastry and sweet (much to her older brother, Milk's, delight), she is a bit of an anomaly amongst her siblings. Born second to last, hers was a difficult pregnancy, and would mark the end of their attempts to have kids as Pinkie had to get a C-Section due delayed and hard labor. 19 hours into her labor, she was born, and she was born intersex, a curiosity to many equestrians, and for Pinkie's conservative family, a bad omen due to their beliefs of single-sex attributes. 

Though Pinkie and Cheese were far more open-minded, it was a closely guarded secret within their family, or at least, it was attempted to be. It wasn't hard for many of the foals in the kids' school to find out that something was different about Cranberry, and it was difficult for her to not internalize the bullying she would be subjected to. It certainly didn't help that her parents, seeing her as primarily effeminate, reinforced the idea that she needed to be. They tried to be kind about their redirections to do girly things, though Cranberry never really felt strongly about that orientation of her identity. 

She didn't really have a strong bond with femininity or masculinity, though she couldn't really articulate why that was. But she didn't know what to do about it, so she settled on just being who her parents wanted her to be, and to draw as little attention to herself as possible. 

Sugar Rush and Sugar Crash (The Twins):

Pinkie and Cheese are known voyeurs, and in their many escapades, the twins were born, one after the other, practically holding hooves when they arrived into the world. Yet between the two of them, they couldn't have been more different. Rush, the older of the two (a detail he rarely ever forgets, though he was born only seconds before his twin sister), is energetic, wildly extroverted, and in every sense, unable to sit down even if his life depended on it. He has never had an issue making friends, and this openness to experience has very famously made his everyone's favorite playmate throughout his time in school. His sister, Crash, is is counterpart, and her dry wit and humor, her cool, calm, and collected attitude, makes her a necessary contrast to his impossible energy. 

The two compliment each other nicely, and they are hardly ever apart, even going to bathroom together, though most everyone that they tell this to are as disgusted as you'd expect for them to be. They have a penchant for comedy, and they make a fine time of any party they attend by captivating audiences with their humor and charisma. They may even have a future in stand-up.

Flighty:

Born to a quick fling between the best frenemies that Equestria has ever known, Flighty was the result of some magical nonsense that even Gilda herself doesn't remember or understand. Mostly out of pride, and perhaps a little shame, Gilda laid his egg in Griffonstone, hatching him on a bright, sunny morning in her dwelling under the eye of the council as she knew it would be easier to keep him away from sight, at least until he was hatched. She'd hoped he would look more griffon than pony, but seeing him born with pony legs and the stature of an equine immediately dashed any and all hope that his origin wouldn't be questioned. 

Though she never elaborated about the parent, a detail she staunchly kept hidden as she was already in hot water about "mingling" with the equines to begin with, having the council know that it was female equine that she'd bore him with would surely promise her exile if that detail ever came to light. As such, she swore to never do it again, and to promise that the boy be raised as a griffon, though as a lower caste of Griffonstone than even his mother due to his "dirty birth", a term for any griffon born through of two-species parents. 

Growing up second-rate part of the only home he'd ever known, he didn't need the teasing and mockery of the other griffons to see that his body was different, that he didn't predate on rodents and flesh, but instead, grass and hay like an equine. Even with all of his attempts to ask his mother, Gilda, about his origin, he was swiftly turned away on the issue, and left with no answers as for why he was, apparently, inferior to all others of his kind. 

So he wanted to find this mystery pony, his other parent, so then maybe he can find out where he came from. 

And maybe even find a new life out there in that big world he'd never known. 

Carrots:

Pinkie, funnily enough, doesn't even remember having Carrots...though Discord definitely does. As a natural-born Draconequus, hailing from Magia, a different plane where strange beasts like him still roam, his sex is fluid...and that is never more apparent than when he and Pinkie got him knocked up, and he was left with an egg he didn't want to care for. 

Already married, he couldn't afford for Twilight, or really, anyone, to find out that this egg existed, so...he did the one thing that would weigh on his conscious less than outright destroying the creature within it: dump it down a river and HOPE that it got smashed or something. Sure, it was about as terrible as a decision that he could make, and yes, it does weigh on his mind every day, though he tries very hard to ignore the guilt, but he washed his paw and talon of the mess, and went about his life, unaware that another one of his progeny would get caught on a stone and drift onto a bank within the Everfree Forest. Hatching alone, the nameless child would have no one to greet her, save for the terrible beasts and oppressive darkness that would be her only friends into the foreseeable future.

Born of chaos and laughter, she was a wild, positively unpredictable little creature, but not outright destructive, making friends with the beasts that roamed the woods, forming a tight bond with a few that would take her in and raise her as their own. She would grow up unaware that she was the child of an Element Bearer and the Lord of Chaos, and she was the holder of incredible power...and perhaps a potential heir to the throne of chaos herself.
