As you can see, Arantheals are my guiding stars, as some of their info seems to be the most plausible in this mess. 

So, instance: 

Tealor is in his late 30s when Narathzul is born - Nico told so;

Narathzul is 23y.o. when he kills Erodan - “The Town Of Erothin And Its History”, Nehrim book;

Tealor is in his mid 60s when the events of Enderal take place - Nico told so;

Nehrim’s MC needs to be as young as possible when the war with the North starts - Nehrim canon. 

Calculations and reasoning:

As I need as much time as I can have for Tealor’s and Narathzul’s imprisonment (to match at least Enderal canon the best I can) and for the Nehrim MC’s childhood, I set Tealor’s age to be 35 instead of late 30s when Narathzul is born. In the events of Enderal I again change his age, mid 60s turns into 68, as we really need more time. Maybe should have changed it all even more but I’m trying to keep it as close as possible to the instance data.

So:  35+23=58 - age of Tealor when Narathzul kills Erodan and imprisons him. (year 8224) As Tealor tells the Prophet, the events of Nehrim took place two years before the events of Enderal. (year 8232) Thus, Tealor was imprisoned for 8 years (and Narathzul, accordingly). (years 8224 - 8232) Then we have to rush the events to start the war with the North as soon as possible (you remember the MC has to be a child, right? Well, we’ll fail, in a sort, but we are trying our best): So let’s make it take only one year for Coarek to be appointed the North governor and backstab Baratheon.  Therefore, having the Middle-North war started in 8225, it lasts for 7 years till finally the events of Nehrim take place. (fun enough, Enderal book “Vyn - A geographical overview” has it the same way. So it is canon!) And here we come to our MC’s childhood fail problem: having only 7 years passed, they have to be really young. I can imagine 19-20 y.o. is max, but that’s up to you to decide of course.

aegislash- i’ve always thought that if ichigo would have a pokemon, it would probably be ghost since he has a leaning towards the spiritual side. he’s used to death and i feel like he would be a ghost type trainer if he had to pick a monotype team. but he didn’t so this is one of my fav ghost types and i feel like it matches him because in general, it has such a motif with leadership and royalty and i feel like with ichigo’s personality, they work really well. and it’s just a good around pokemon too! it’s both durable and strong, although it switches between them.

gardevoir- it was split between gallade or gardevoir since both seem to fit ichigo but i had to pick gardevoir because while i think he fits gallade extremely well, gardevoir can do some wack shit like predict the future and make black holes to protect people they care about and that goes with ichigo, how he would practically tear the heavens asunder, doing the impossible, to protect. and gardevoir is a very knightly pokemon, so it goes with ichigo’s more kinder nature jhfkjseg. plus i feel like he needs one pokemon to mega evolve because more power good.

trevenant- trevenant was an interesting decision because like, on surface they don’t have much in common but the thing is i like to think he meets phantump first and he knows the origins of it, like how it was a dead child and really ichigo has such a big thing with protecting children, so i feel like he would take one in, maybe feeling sad for it. also growth motif,,, good.

rotom- listen,,, ghost types Good and rotom is one really adaptable pokemon, having a variety of different forms (just like ichigo kjsbefkj) and that really suits him! plus i like to view him having a rotom in the lens of him being a substitute, how he effectively combines the spiritual world with the modern one, like how rotom possesses household appliances. it’s a modern ghost!

crobat- crobat’s really fast and agile! i was thinking about ichigo’s bankai tbh sjdjjejd But that’s not the main reason. it’s because zubat is unsuspecting, it seems weak and annoying but it evolves into a cool bat! and it evolves with friendship and ichigo’s really good at friendship and is just, a really compassionate person. ichigo brings out the best in others, inspiring loyalty and camaraderie because he’s a gentle person. he doesn’t overlook people because he knows what it’s like to be underestimated.
