Tumblr weekly showing me posts that make me feel like I gotta finish my fanfic
But uhhh it’s a little scary now. Feels a little untouchable. I started that fic over 3 years ago and it changed my life low key. Not only am I a different person today than I was when I sat down and started writing but like ?? I’m living a different life too. I’m getting married soon because of that fic. Everything about my life has changed since that fic, many aspects BECAUSE of that fic, and thats insane to me. It’s awesome. Also it’s super weird. I dont know what to do with that.
I’ve always said I’d finish it. I always wanted to. I still get comments on it to this day on occasion asking me to. I like to think I’ll AT LEAST eventually publish the chapters I have near complete drafts for. I just don’t know how to approach it again after all this.
I’m stilling telling myself I’ll get to it. Sorry if I’m a lying liar in the long run. But to those who read that fic and loved it I hope you understand that I love it too. In a way that work was a seed. It blossomed in my life in ways I couldnt have expected and I’m not sure how to return to that seed now that so much has grown out of it.
I hope some day soon I can try, though.
